Hello and thanks for visiting my site taking a look at my Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Bottle Maker review. Now you may have heard of the Tommee Tippee brand before and be familiar with some of their other products. I however want to concentrate on reviewing the quite new Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Day and Night bottle maker. The reason being that after searching online I can safely say this is a product well worth checking out by any mum or dad.
So we will be taking a look make, design and features fo this particular steriliser. We will talk about the pros and cons of buying one and also what others have said about this product. We will of course talk about the cost and where to purchase the Tommee Tippee Bottle maker, as well as how it compares to other similar brands in its price range.
Finally I will summarise my thoughts at the bottom of this review and let you decide for yourself if you feel that this is the steriliser for you and your baby. So let’s begin!
So you well be thinking, hey wait a second here, why do I need a bottle making machine? I mean I can just make the bottles myself right? Just boil the water, add it to the milk powder and boom, we’re in business. Well that is true, you don’t HAVE to invest in a bottle making machine, but there really are some very cool benefits for tired parents everywhere if only they would read this review and consider owning one.
For a start:
. The Perfect Prep bottle maker is 10x faster than a kettle when it comes to boiling water. ( essential if you’re up in the middle of the night, doing a feed for your baby at 3am).
. This bottle maker has been designed so that you can use water that straight out of a tap, it has a specialised anti-bacterial filter that removes the bacteria and other harmful impurity’s so that it’s totally safe for your baby to drink.
. The Perfect Prep bottle maker delivers an initial hot burst of water at 70oc to kill any bacteria in the bottle and also to help dissolve the milk powder more quickly.
. As the name suggests, the Perfect Prep is designed to deliver the perfect bottle at just the right temperature every single time. In just 2 minutes your ready to feed your baby. (Sadly the Perfect Prep can’t feed baby for you).
. There is adjustable volume alerts and what I think is a really cool feature, soft glow tank lights that mean you can prepare your baby’s bottle even in the dark. (I know, sometimes you just can’t stand to turn the kitchen lights on at 3 in the morning, me neither!)
. You have a light up easy to use digital display on the top of the bottle maker. It’s as easy as selecting the bottle feed size, press to dispense the hot water, shake well, and replace the bottle back in the Perfect Prep, then press again to dispense the rest of the water. The machines knows just how much hot to cold water is needed for the right temperature bottle, every single time.
This bottle maker also comes with an anti-bacterial Tommee Tippee filter, a single 150ml feeding bottle with a slow flow test and a milk storage lid.
Now the Perfect Prep will cost £129.99, my place to find this is at Amazon.com, which after looking at other alternatives to this particular baby bottle maker, is I think a fair price for a reliable and handy device. But what about other brands you may ask?
Ok, so here’s thing, I found 3 other baby bottle makers that are similar to the Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep. None have the highly recognised and trusted brand name that Tommee Tippee have, one is not as reliable or well made and this is reflected in the price tag at around half what the Perfect Prep costs.
The other two are about a hundred pounds more expensive. They look pretty but I don’t think they are offering you the any more functionality than the bottle maker I review here today. Although don’t take my word for it, by all means click here any of the links her in this review and you can browse Amazon.com for another make you like.
Now I have mentioned the Tommee Tippee Anti-Bacterial filters which have a specific membrane inside to weed out any bacteria and make the water from your tap perfectly ok for your baby to drink. However these last for typically three months at a time a pond you will need to replace them after this period. Again pick up new ones at Amazon for just £10.99.
I would also like to recommend the Tommee Tippee Advanced Anti-Colic Bottle Starter Set, which can pick up for only £32.00.
So now to sum this review up. I believe that you could make do without a bottle maker, after all many generations before did it didn’t they? Why do you need one? Well for convenience sake is why, and because they’re available now, in this generation, and they could make your life a bit easier when your going through the physical and emotional rollercoasters that is being a parent to a new baby.
So I hope that you will head over to Amazon.com and see all the brilliant features for yourself, simply by clicking any link on this page. I hope you found my review useful and if you would like to leave a share, like, question or comment about anything in y review then please feel free to do so below and I will get back to you promptly.
Many thanks, Kenny.
