Hello, and thanks for visiting my site, here I will be doing a review of the ERGOBABY OMNI 360 BABY CARRIER. I will be discussing:

Ergobaby omni 360 baby carrier

1. How the product works and the design, both practical and aesthetic.

2. The feedback and reviews of actual mums and dads that have used this carrier. Both pros and cons.

3. How it differs from other carriers.

4. Summary of the Omni carrier and where you can find it, and others like it.

The Omni 360 is result of the design team at ERGOBABY listening to feedback from parents and coming up with a carrier which is the most versatile I have personally seen on market.

It is designed to be comfortable and easy to use, which is for me really I important as I do t like having to fiddle around with too many straps and clips when going out with my own 1 year old!

. 4 different carrying positions for your baby. The front facing you, the baby facing outward, placement of carrier to be lower down on the hips, and baby on your back. Personally I never use the baby on my back position as it kind of bothers me not being able to see my son whilst carrying him, lol.

. The carrier can be used with a newborn right up to infant, weight 3.2kgs to 15kgs. Or 7-33 lbs.

. The strap placement means you get extra support on your lumbar ( lower region of your back), for added comfort.

. There is a handy folding tuck away hood for sun protection, and to give mum a little more privacy while breastfeeding.

. The Omni 360 comes with a detachable storage pouch, which I find quite useful.

. The design of the carrier is hip healthy and gives your little one added ergonomic comfort.

So the feedback from parents who have purchased the Omni 360 is that the key points they really appreciate are the options to face their baby in or outwards, the ease of use, and the major support the straps give their lower back, along with the comfortable cross over back straps.

I feels great, so supportive.

I have looked at feedback from multiple sites as well as ERGOBABY and can say that parents with kids from near newborn to older baby’s are finding the investment a good one overall.

However, no product review would be worth it without including the concerns from some parents. To start, be careful when you wash this carrier and be sure to follow the instructions for washing on the label as otherwise the colour will fade slightly, and after buying what is a high end product, you certainly don’t want that. Especially if you have gone for one the limited edition designs, like the Hello Kitty theme that is offered by ERGOBABY.

The only other point to mention is that the Omni 360 carrier is designed as a top of the line product, which means we should expect the comfort, support and versatility that it certainly does seem to provide, but you get what you pay for, and you should expect to pay at the higher end of the scale for this particular carrier. But remember it is made with the expectation of being able to be used up until your baby is at the 15 kilo mark in weight, so at the infancy stage.

So I have looked at quite a few other carrier sites and I have to say, not all carriers are made the same. For a start there is a real emphasis on comfort for you and your baby with the Omni 360, along with the fact that you can see that the design team have really thought about how much pressure is put on mum and dads backs when carrying their baby for any length of time. And the strap positions reflect this.Ergobaby all in one carrier

You also do not need any infant or newborn inserts for the Omni 360, and the carrier is easy to adjust on the go, well as easy as adjusting any carrier with a baby in it is ever going to be! The materials are what you would expect of a high end product and reflect the intention to make your baby as comfortable and secure as can be when they are close to you in this carrier.

In my view, and experience as a dad who has used a different carriers for my first son who is now 5 and has used Ergobaby carriers for my baby boy who is 1, the Omni is a top notch product. It does come with a higher price tag of £139.99, and that’s a little higher than some other brands of carriers, but frankly speaking, it is an investment in you and your baby’s comfort and health, and in my opinion well worth it.

If you are not going to be using a baby carrier very often, then you could well do with a carrier that does not offer all the features I have stated on this review and pay a lesser price. But if you are like my wife and I and will be giving a baby carrier a fair or good amount of use, then I would certainly recommend the Ergobaby Omni 360 carrier as a very good investment for you and your baby.

  1. Very nice review of the Omni 360 Baby Carrier! One thing I would do differently than the photo –not sure if the carrier is designed for this–; but, I believe the carrier should be worn on the back–like the native Americans and other people groups have done for centuries. Wearing it in front is not good for the back. I know…people like to look down and see their baby, but I don’t think this method is good. Looks like a quality carrier though.

    1. Hi and thanks for the feedback, the Omni carrier is wearable on the back too, I might add a pic of this in the future. Thanks

  2. Nancy says:

  4. Mariah says:

I’m glad this product is so versatile, because babies are versatile and the activities we want to do are versatile as well!

It’s excellent that the baby carrier can essentially grow with the baby, because it’s always a shame when you can only use something for a very short time. Babies grow so quickly after-all. Sure you may have another baby and reuse the item for that one, but it’s always better when designers come up with solutions that allow you to get the most out of the product.

    1. Kenneth Glossop says:

Hi and thanks for commenting on my site. For sure they always come out with something better the next year, but on the plus side if you take care of this product you can still pass it on and re-use it another time as it’s very durable. Thanks, Kenny

  5. Mike says:

That is a cool product Kenny!

I used to have a backpack version when my daughter was little, but she has grown up now and now I have a great niece who can benefit from this product! I like the idea of having them in the front much better than the old school backpack version because you can see the baby and better take care of it!

I will e mail this link to my wife ! We babysit my great niece quite often and this might be fun to have the next time we take her to the zoo!

Thanks for the great article ! ‘

This looks like a great carrier! It looks very comfortable for both mom and baby. I have had a hard time finding the perfect carrier with my first two kids. If I have a third child, I know I will need to continue my search. The Ergobaby Omni 360 is definitely one I will be considering after reading this great review. Thanks so much!

    1. Kenneth Glossop says:

  9. Alisha says:

This really looks like a cool product. Although I do not have any children my brother does and him and his fiancee like to travel a lot and they do have one that goes on the back but I have heard complaints with that one when their little one starts to cry or panic and it becomes a hassle trying to get him out of one of those. Is there a certain age that you should not go over or does the max just go by weight?

    1. Kenneth Glossop says:

Hello and thank you for taking the time to leave me a comment. I am very happy to hear that you liked my product review and I am sure you will appreciate others on my site too. Kenny

  10. Kevin says:

This review is very useful, indeed. I appreciate the detail with which you’ve explored the product and believe that it will benefit many parents searching for such information and looking for products that would assist them, while protecting their child. You’re right: such a product ought to be looked at as an investment–both in you and your wife, as parents, and in the welfare of your child. This isn’t something on which you’ll want to skimp, if at all possible.

    1. Kenneth Glossop says:

Thank you for your valuable time and feedback as I really appreciate it. I try and offer the best insight I can to help other parents decide which products are right for them. Kenny

  11. cheriri says:

Thanks for sharing your review of this baby carrier. I love the aspect that it’s supportive to your back and good quality, sure to last much longer. My sister in law was looking for one the other day, will tell her to take a look. I will definitely get myself one when the baby arrives.

    1. Kenneth Glossop says:

Hi and good luck with everything. I appreciate your comments and I will be sharing more in the near future. Thanks, Kenny

  12. Agbor says:

The product is great as it gives both the baby and the mom/dad maximum level of comfort and what really caught my attention again was the fact that the writer is given his own experience which makes the article more interesting. This is really an important feature because if the two that is the baby or the mom/dad is not comfortable it becomes worthless. But however one thing I didn’t like was the fact that in other to wash the carrier you will have to read a manual this brings discomfort and time consuming. The product should be develop I. Such a way that is simple to wash.
However, this is a great product I personally will recommend for others to try.
The review is and incredible one keep up the good work.

  13. Matt M says:

    Hi Kenny.

Nice review, I like it that you have given a broad opinion not just all good points, nothings perfect, right?

The price tag of £139.99 might seem a little steep but if you consider you are carrying your child and most loved possession, surely you would want the very best. for him or her.

Nice product review and I’m sure parents to be will find it useful.

    1. Kenneth Glossop says:

That’s cool. I do agree with you on the point that yes. The price reflects the high quality of the product but if you can afford to make the investment I would say to do so. The reason being it lasts so long and is such good quality for you and your baby.

  14. Chrissie Spurgeon says:

I really like the look of this carrier, and most importantly, the fact that it is really comfortable for both baby and parent. Carrying a baby around is always a strain on the back as the baby grows heavier, and anything that will help to alleviate the strain on the back is definitely worth having, and you cannot really put a price on that!

I wish this carrier had been around when my babies were small! Very many thanks for your information 🙂

    1. Kenneth Glossop says:

Yes it was the same for my wife after her epidural giving birth to our first son she was in a lot of pain with her back but fortunately have a good quality Carrier really helped a lot so I can definitely say that paying a little extra for the comfort is worth it.

  15. Henry says:

Hi Kenny! I love to hear that Ergobaby Omni baby carrier is comfortable and easy to use. That has been my key question in my research.

I also appreciate it’s versatility. Babies can be carried from the very moment they’re born up to quite a few years of their infancy.

Thank you very much for this review.

    1. Kenneth Glossop says:

Excellent to hear. I put a lot of work into trying to give you and my site viewers the best experience possible and it means a lot to me that you liked my work and found it to be useful. Hope to see you hear again soon. Kenny
